Who controls the information
Chipyard Studio controls information sent directly to our editorial and privacy email addresses. Questions can be sent to privacy@chipyardstudio.co.uk.
Information we may receive
Our web host may record routine technical logs such as an IP address, requested page, browser type, time and referring page for security and service reliability. If you email us, we receive the address, message and any material you choose to include.
Why it is used
Technical records may be used to keep the site secure, diagnose faults and understand basic service demand. Contact information is used to answer the enquiry, assess a correction or meet a legal obligation. We do not use contact emails to create marketing lists.
Local storage
The homepage can store one preference named chipyard-cookie-notice after you dismiss the notice. It records the word “dismissed”; it does not identify you. See the cookie policy for more detail.
Affiliate destinations
Marked operator links lead to separate organisations. A link can include a campaign or referral identifier, and the destination may process information under its own privacy and cookie policies. Chipyard Studio does not receive access to your operator account or gameplay.
Sharing and retention
Information may be handled by essential hosting or email providers acting for us, or disclosed when required by law. Editorial correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to resolve the matter and keep an appropriate record.
Your choices
Depending on UK data protection law and the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Some rights have lawful exceptions.

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date. The policy applies only to Chipyard Studio, not to linked operator, regulator or support websites.
